Happening every day, kids sent back, reunification at all costs no matter what the situation. Biologicals given umpteen chances to straighten out. They never do. Kids shafted from home to home, further traumatised. System is a disgrace.

Reunification should be the goal

UNLESS there is ample evidence that the kids might be hurt. There is ample evidence and it was very violent. She is obviously an unfit Mother (for whatever reasons) take the children off her, she has received help and still isn’t coping. Otherwise the blood of these girls should be on the hands of this department. What an absolute disgrace.

You would think the goal of foster care was to give a child a safe home .....

but no they say the goal is to reunify the child with the biological family and they will try to at any cost.
