18 Sadly Missed Award

This year we lost many great people but two in particular left a big hole in all of our hearts. The first was Win Schubert AO who died in April this year. One of the great philanthropists she has left a legacy, especially in the art world, which will continue forever. Her capacity for giving, mostly anonymously, was astonishing and she did it gladly because she simply wanted to help people, animals and the arts community. The other is developer Con Nikiforides. He was a gentleman in the truest sense of the word. We never heard anyone have a bad word to say about him which, in the cutthroat world of property development, is a rarity.
