SUMMARY

The run of tiny surf continues this week; commencing with slight NE windswell nudging up marginally to 1 to 2ft from Tuesday to Thursday, before fading again on Friday. A slight rise in SSE swell should see similarly small waves across northern NSW coasts on Thursday and Friday.

TODAY

Weak, short period NE windswell ranging from 1 to 2ft exposed open beaches, grading tiny elsewhere. WIND: Early light WNW to NNW inshore tending N 15 to 20 knots.

TOMORROW

Junky NE windswell around 1 to 2ft open beaches, grading smaller inside the points and bays. WIND: Early light WNW to NNW tending NNE to NE 10 to 15 knots during the afternoon.

THURSDAY

Junky ENE windswell

ranging from 1 to 2ft south facing beaches, fading during the afternoon. WIND: Model divergence. Variable to early light ENE 5 to 10 knots, tending E to 5 to 15 knots during the afternoon.

FRIDAY

Dwindling ENE windswell up to 1 to 2ft max exposed Qld breaks early, fading during the afternoon. Slight SSE windswell up to 1 to 2ft northern NSW south facing breaks, tiny elsewhere WIND: Early light and variable to light tending NE 10 to 15 knots during the afternoon.

SATURDAY

Mix of slight NE and SSE windswells around 1ft+ exposed Queensland breaks. Slightly larger at 1 to 2ft northern NSW south facing beaches, tiny elsewhere. Up to 2ft+ exposed beaches, grading smaller elsewhere. WIND: N 15 to 25 knots.
