Hazlewood to return
AUSTRALIA will recall fast bowling spearhead Josh Hazlewood for Friday’s second one-day international against England in a bid to fire up its lethargic pace attack.
Hazlewood flew into Brisbane yesterday to start preparations for the Gabba clash, where Australia will look to bounce back after Sunday’s five-wicket loss.
England opener Jason Roy piloted the visitors to a comfortable win in the first of five one-dayers at the MCG with a blistering 180 (151 balls).
After playing all five Ashes Tests and taking 21 wickets at 25.90, Hazlewood was rested for the first ODI. Pat Cummins will be rested for the Gabba clash, paving the way for Hazlewood to return.
