FOX NEWS ALL GOOD FROM PM

-

AS one Fox had just strolled through the door of No.10 Downing St, another – rather more bushy-tailed – clearly fancied its own brush with fame yesterday.

While Liam Fox, Britain’s International Trade Secretary, was in Cabinet, an urban fox brazenly strolled by the prime ministerial residence.

However, it did not take advantage of the door to No.10 in central London being ajar to join Prime Minister Theresa May and her ministers, including Dr Fox – not even to thank her for announcing that she would drop any plans to reintroduce the hunting of its country cousins.

A passer-by said of the fox: “He hobbled past once, and then came back the other way. He was limping, his back right leg was injured – he wasn’t a well fox. He had a nice face but he looked quite cute and sad.”

The animals are becoming increasingly confident in UK towns and cities, where their numbers have quadrupled in 20 years.
