OFF THE RECORD

-

THERE’S no fury like a woman ignored. Who was the fashionista, always held together in last year’s designer gear, who let it be known very loud and very clear that she was most upset at not being invited to an exclusive ladies lunch for a visiting American fashion designer? Outspoken organiser was quick to explain that the out-there girls chosen for this soiree had their own individual style and were not dependent on a stitched-up stylist for their appearance. Parasols at ten paces anyone?

SHE who likes to be obeyed because, after all, she believes there is none other like her, seemed rather dejected at a recent big event. What could it be? Love life? – No, that seems to be OK because they both go their separate ways. That leaves only one thing, moolah. Although she has more money than the Lord himself, we hear things are not all that crash hot on a big business deal.

HERE’S another meaning for suffer the little children. Some precious little angels were overheard mocking one of their group because, wait for it, the family auto, French since you asked, wasn’t considered to be as good as their families’ German car maker. Sadly a couple of the parents who were close enough to hear this disgraceful sedan shaming did nothing to step in and stop this nonsense.

SHE has been a notable absentee at all of the big social soirees of late and many speculated that she may have decided to curtail the endless round of canapés and cocktails for a quieter life. Now the real reason has been revealed. It seems that madam has been a regular user of OPM – Other People’s Money – and her phone has been ringing hot with calls from angry creditors demanding she pay her very overdue bills. Obviously she dare not show her face, hat, bag or shoes lest some enraged former friend snatch them away as part payment for money owing.

LIFESTYLES of the rich and shameless – Chapter 411. After a massive makeover of the family home on Avenue Costa Lotta, this family moved back in only for wifey poo to hate, detest and abhor the changes. Too light, too dark, too hot, too cold – in short nothing was quite right for this outraged Goldilocks. Luckily they were able to move into another of their many houses while the necessary adjustments were made. Weirdly everything that had been done had been shown and agreed to by this fussy frau so let’s hope that second time is a charm.
