Why do the roads/highways need to be closed down for hours after accidents. Surely a quick response unit on motorbikes could get there - take required photos and then roads cleared. Get the vehicles involved off the road - let the traffic flow - then do the investigations/interviews etc. Other countries don't close roads and certainly not multi lanes for hours at a time. Would solve a lot of M1 angst
