Hopefully Qld Police will be given full authorisation to clear M1 of traffic accidents immediately, during Easter and Commonwealth Games. Lack of clearing is generally the cause of most congestion on the M1. Bring in traffic bulldozers!

Here’s an idea for gccc to consider. Run a monorail around surfers paradise to the cultural centre & turf club. There wouldn’t be a need for the green bridge from chevron island to the cultural centre which would save millions in costs. Some companies might want to get on board if it would benefit their patrons. It would alleviate some traffic problems.
