LABOUR OF LOVE KEEPS PHIL BUSY

IT seems you can’t keep Phil Avalon away from a film set. We wrote last year of his appointment as the producer for the yet to be filmed Photos in the Attic, a WWI love story based on photos of Diggers found in a French attic. Now he has been inundated with work offers. “Right now I have four films being financed - Dark Island, The Killers List, Overtime and Ariadne’s Thread are the working titles. Two will be shot on the Gold Coast, one will be in Far North Queensland and the other in Melbourne. It’s going to be hectic but I love making films so it is a labour of love,” he said.
