Listeria hits two more

A QUEENSLAND woman and a Victorian man are the latest victims to be diagnosed with listeria traced to contaminated NSW rockmelon.

The outbreak has now affected 17 people. Authorities issued an alert in late February and confirmed last week that three had died. The rockmelon producer near Griffith has voluntarily stopped production.
