Police help out DV kids

OFFICERS from various Gold Coast police stations have donated thousands of dollars’ worth of items to local charity Zephyr Education Inc.

Zephyr is an endorsed charity for the International Women’s Day event to be held in Brisbane tomorrow, when the donations will be presented to its founders. Zephyr supports children who have been displaced due to domestic violence by providing them with schooling necessities.

Officers from the Pacific Fair Police Beat culminated their fundraising campaign by collecting items donated by the shopping centre’s retailers.
