Hogs star to lead revival

QUEENSLAND coach Michael Hayes is expecting his side to improve on its Round 1 Super W loss when it travels to Canberra to face the Brumbies on Saturday.

A Queensland team featuring Helensvale Hogs No.8 Alexandra Hargreaves fell 18-0 in its season opener at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday.

“This is a new group that hasn’t had an opportunity to play much together yet. They will have learnt some lessons (against NSW) and we’ll take those into training,” Hayes said.
