Chatter of Bindi proposal

BINDI Irwin could be headed for the aisle with boyfriend Chandler Powell amid rumours the couple have moved out from under Terri Irwin’s roof.

As fresh rumours of an engagement emerged yesterday, a source close to Australia Zoo said Bindi, 19 and Powell, 21, were now living together separately from the family’s main home within the Sunshine Coast compound.

“They had the house renovated last year around May, so they could live there. It’s on the same road as Terri but just further down,” the source said.

The daughter of the late Steve Irwin and the American wakeboarder have been dating for around three years.

It is understood Powell, who has been mostly living at Australia Zoo for the last year, has also begun working with Australia Zoo’s social media team.

It comes as Terri sparked further speculation of an engagement yesterday when she tweeted about her daughter’s relationship one hour after Powell wrote his own post.

“After many years of @BindiIrwin kissing frogs, it finally paid off! #KissMeImIrish,” Terri wrote alongside a throwback photo of Bindi as a child holding a frog next to a photo of her and Powell.
