Veteran adds to ace tally

MAIN Beach’s Stephen Cook landed his fourth career hole-in-one at Southport Golf Club on March 10.

The 66-year-old, who has been playing since 1986, aced the 14th hole in the club’s Saturday competition to add to his other hole-in-ones in 2011 (Southport), 1999 (Kingston Heath, Melbourne) and 1997 (Roseville, Sydney).

“The whole four, I’ve never seen one of them actually go in the hole,” Cook, who plays off a handicap of five, said.
