Jayda’s going places, fast

RISING Gold Coast race walker Jayda Anderson has underlined her potential at the Australian junior championships in Sydney.

Anderson, a training partner of under-20 10,000m gold medallist Katie Hayward, finished second in the under-14 3000m at the four-day event at Sydney Olympic Park.

She will compete at the Little Athletics state championships this weekend with the aim of being selected in the Queensland team for next month’s national titles at Runaway Bay.
