Chloe cooks up a storm

YOU can now make Dame Quentin Bryce’s eggplant parmigiana at home, thanks to a new cookbook penned by Chloe Shorten, the former Governor-general’s daughter and wife of the Federal Opposition leader.

Ms Shorten’s second book, The Secret Ingredient, is about the importance of eating dinner with your family.

It shares recipes from family and friends, including Dame Bryce’s eggplant parmigiana, business icon Wendy McCarthy’s perfect roast chicken and a chocolate cake “so fine it was served in restaurants”.
