SURF FORECAST

- POWERED BY COASTALWATCH

SUMMARY

A consistent run of E tradewind swell continues all week; with a stronger rise into the 3 to 4ft+ range expected today. E swell peaks around 3 to 5ft on Thursday through early Friday, ahead of a smaller, reinforcing E pulse arriving over the weekend. A pattern of early light inshore winds tending moderate to strong ESE continues throughout the outlook period. Queensland’s long and shortrange swell windows remain under the influence of disparate tropical storms – and it’s clear both systems will perpetuate the current run easterly swell for some time to come.
