Boss to bite the Bullets

-

MATILDAS coach Alen Stajcic won’t lie awake at night wondering what the Japan and South Korea score might be before his side’s second match against minnows Vietnam.

However, Australia’s Asian Cup and 2019 World Cup qualification destiny will be clearer once that clash is over, given Japan and South Korea face off in the earlier match tomorrow. A scoreless draw will be Stajcic’s nightmare leading into the final Group B clash with Japan on Friday NBL owner Larry Kestelman says the Brisbane Bullets are on the market for between $5 million and $10 million but he will only sell if he can find buyers who are in it for the right reasons.

Kestelman put his money where his mouth was two seasons ago when the NBL revived the Bullets.

But now the successful businessman is looking to sell his interests in both the Bullets and Melbourne United as he believes the NBL should not have majority ownership in its teams.
