Boost for club’s pups

BURLEIGH Heads will step up the professionalism of their junior pathways after joining forces with Gold Coast-based coaching company Soccer X.

With help from Soccer X coaches, the Bulldogs will grade all players from under-8s to under-18s in order to field development teams in each Football Gold Coast junior age group.

All players, including Little Kickers and under-7s, will have access to Soccer X coaching, while coaches for the under-8 to under-18 teams will also receive support from the company.

“We saw we needed to offer our juniors a development pathway with professional coaches. We want Burleigh to be the place quality players come to develop and provide a pathway to senior football on the Gold Coast,” Bulldogs president John Bray said.
