No time added for bust

NOTORIOUS former Hells Angels bikie Christopher Bloomfield has escaped further punishment after steroids were found in his Varsity Lakes apartment last year.

Bloomfield, a former junior Gold Coast Titan, pleaded guilty in the Southport Magistrates Court yesterday to possessing two vials of steroids.

The drugs were found during a search on May 12 last year.

The former standover man was sentenced in February to four years, three months’ jail for extortion in relation to a $16,000 drug debt. He threatened to kill a man and shoot his family over the debt in 2014.

Magistrate Kay Phillipson convicted Bloomfield of the drug possession but did not further punish him. Bloomfield can’t be released before January next year.
