THE RAVE THAT GETS A G RATING

- PEYTON HUTCHINS

RAVE parties are usually associated with young people – but not this young.

But a special event called Big Fish Little Fish taking place at the Platinum Nightclub in Broadbeach on May 5th aims to change all that.

With craft and games areas, a baby chill out room and a fully licensed bar, the party aims to appeal to both parents and children alike.

Big Fish Little Fish Queensland co-ordinator Stuart Mattheson said children loved the event, which has already played to audiences in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

“The feedback we get is always so positive,” he said.

“We feel we are providing another generation with the music we love and care about.”

Mr Mattheson said the volume of the music is set to a safe level for little ears and there are plenty of fun things to do for the children.

“The party includes a multi sensory dance floor using things such as bubbles, themed lights, glow sticks and projected synched videos, which both little and larger ravers love,” Mr Mattheson said.
