No worries for Cyclones

GOLD Coast Cyclones coach Tonga Lea’aetoa says a number of niggling injuries sustained during a trial against Nihon University on Monday night are not of major concern leading into this month’s South Queensland Championships.

The match at Helensvale was stopped eight minutes early when the Cyclones “ran out of personnel”. At that point, the Tokyo-based side were leading having scored six tries to five.

The Cyclones will announce their final squad in the coming weeks.
