Pennant to Southport

SOUTHPORT are the champions of the Gold Coast District Gold Association Open Pennants competition following yesterday’s final.

Unbeaten all season, Southport defeated Coolangatta Tweed 6-1 to take the trophy at Links Hope Island.

Both sides finished the regular season with five and a half wins out of seven matches.
