CASSEROLE SEEN FROM THE AIR

-

IN case you hadn’t noticed there was a teeny, tiny wedding this week between Ginger and Megs. Held in and around Windsor Castle, the location brought back a favourite memory for architect extraordinaire Desmond Brooks. “Pauline and I were flying into London with our daughter Kimberly who was about five years old. She had seen Windsor Castle on a previous visit and when she looked out the window and saw it again she called out. ‘Look Daddy, it’s Windsor casserole.’ The whole plane started laughing. I’m guessing Windsor casserole would have Greek lamb for Prince Phillip and German sausage for the Queen’s ancestors in the recipe.” Boom Tish!
