North wary of big two

-

NORTH Melbourne are wary of the potential impact of resurgent Fremantle players Nat Fyfe and veteran ruckman Aaron Sandilands.

Coach Brad Scott’s team will strive to be at their miserly best to try to lock down the star pair in Perth on Sunday.

The key to the Kangaroos’ strong early-season form has been their defence. They have conceded a league-low 71 points this season, putting them well ahead of premiers Richmond (76) and the Dockers (86).

Scott said tackling Fyfe came with “great difficulty”.

“He’s a super player and I suspect it’s going to take a midfield effort to combat him,” he said.
