WE may have discovered the source of singer Jon Stevens’ primal voice – the equally primal fare of red meat cooked very well. The legendary Aussie rocker is a huge fan of the steaks at Moo Moo in Broadbeach. “He’s been coming to our restaurant since we first opened,” said owner Steve Adams. “He loves the Gold Coast, visits as often as he can and told me he loves our food because Moo Moo is one of his favourite restaurants in the world. He was in here every night during the Blues on Broadbeach festival – very down to earth, no airs or graces, just one of the lads.” We do so like rock stars who are userfriendly.
