Mustangs on charge

MUSGRAVE have continued their strong form in the Gold Coast Women’s League after thrashing Nerang yesterday at Keith Hunt Park.

On the back of wins over Southport 1 and Broadbeach 2, the Mustangs prevailed 5-0 to keep touch with the competition frontrunners.

On Saturday, Southport 2 was held to a 1-1 draw at home to Robina 1.

In the second game of the Ashmore Village Park double header, Southport 1 was leading Robina 2 3-0 in the dying stages when an injury forced the abandonment of play.

The Warriors are likely to be given a 3-0 win.

Broadbeach 2 beat Kingscliff 2-0 in the other fixture.
