FISHING

NORTH STRADBROKE: Fish all beaches for flathead, bream, tailor and whiting.

JUMPINPIN: Flathead in Jacobs Well Channel near Dinner Island. Sand whiting around Marks Rock, Pandanus and Never Fail Islands.

SOUTHPORT: Blue and striped marlin in 200 fathoms, pearl perch in 50 fathoms, snapper early morning on the 36s, spotty mackerel on the 24s, tailor at dusk along the beaches yellow king at the seaway, sand whiting along the Bundall reach of the Nerang River and mudcrabs in Tiger Mullet and Jacobs Well Channels.

CURRUMBIN: Snapper and cobia on Palm Beach Reef and the Gravel Patch east of Burleigh.

TWEED COAST: Bream, trevally, chopper tailor and mulloway in the middle reaches.
