Bond to host Qld Country

THE Gold Coast will play host to two National Rugby Championship matches this year.

Defending champions Queensland Country will take their Round 4 and 6 matches to Bond University.

The first of those will be against the Western Force on September 22, with the second against the Sydney Rays on October 6.

Country will play their other home fixtures at Townsville and Mackay. They play Canberra Vikings first-up in the ACT on September 1.
