Langer goes on the attack

JUSTIN Langer will take a hands-on role with Australia A next month as he ramps up his national overhaul.

After Australia’s disappointing triseries final Twenty20 loss to Pakistan in Zimbabwe, Langer announced he would conduct a review into leadership and coaching staff positions across the three formats before the side headed to the UAE to take on Pakistan in late September.

Rebuilding Australia’s broken Test team is now the most immediate and important item on Langer’s agenda.
