TOUGH AUTUMN AT KOKODA

-

IF Autumn Adams’ experience is anything to go by we dips our lid to those brave and hardy souls who completed the gruelling Kokoda Challenge last weekend. Take it away Mrs Adams. “This is my fifth year and I do it because of the physical and mental challenge. It was so tough. Green mucus, red raw bottom from chafing, blisters on my hands, and my knees are wrecked. The training is hard and two years ago I had my second back surgery but the sense of accomplishment is enormous. Of course it is great to support the Kokoda Youth Foundation which do such an amazing job helping our young people. Plus it’s great for keeping my butt in shape,” she laughed. All worthwhile then.
