Facebook must address shame of Holocaust denial

-

I NOTICED we’re being inundated on TV with advertising about how Facebook has changed and is a lot more friendly, with “none of this and none of that” anymore.

What I did find disturbing though, is that Facebook has still managed to lower itself even further (according to a recent statement), by stating that it would allow the lies being touted “denying the Holocaust” ever occurred, to remain on its pages.

Explain that to the families of the over 5.5 million Jews who were exterminated in the gas chambers by the Germans during the Holocaust and, the approximately 3.5 million Jews who survived the gas chambers, the medical experiments, the slave labour, the starvation, the horrific physical and mental abuses and the horrors which were “the Holocaust”.

The actual number of people who survived cannot be accurately assessed, but it is thought that maybe 1 in 10 survived. Many of those who did manage to survive, may not have lived long past “patriation” due to the horrors they endured. Many actually died after being fed, due to the fact that their body had gone so long without food and was then flooded with it and their organs could not cope.

It would appear that like so many of the particularly younger generation, they want to change history itself and deny the existence of the Holocaust.

In effect, they are enabling the ethnical cleansing of history as we know it, and those behind Facebook seem happy to oblige with the lies and deceptions.

I am not a user of any form of social media and will never be due to the very negative affects it has on individuals and families.

In fact I prefer to keep in contact with family and friends on an individual basis without all the “hoo ha” which comes with being on social media.
