LOTS TO LOOK OUT FOR
POINT Danger at Coolangatta – straight across from the D’Bar Gallery – is a mustsee, if you haven’t been there already.
The lookout, also the Queensland and New South Wales border, is on top of a grassy knoll where you’ll often find brush turkeys and bearded dragons running around. A wooden boardwalk – the Walk of Remembrance – circles the lookout, which offers 180-degree views across Rainbow Bay.
You’ll find several small historical points of interest along the walk, which commemorate Australian ships lost during World War II.
