Driven to distraction

HUNGRY motorists are chowing down behind the wheel, with 38 per cent of Australians admitting to eating takeaway while driving.

The latest annual Safe Driving Report, from Finder.com.au also found while one in 10 had driven with their knees while others admitted to taking their eyes off the road to read a book and watch a movie recording 4 per cent and 2 per cent respectively.

Meals on wheels: 38 per cent of drivers say they eat and drive.
