Small ESE groundswel­l mixes with a new S swell south of the border. Southern QLD: Around 1 to 2ft exposed beaches, rising occasional sets later. Northern NSW coasts: Speculativ­ely 1 to 3ft south facing breaks, grading 1 to 2ft elsewhere. WIND: W to WSW 10 to 15 knot, easing variable before tending NE at 10knots.

THURSDAY

Mix of minor ESE and S groundswel­ls. Ranging from 1 to 3ft at northern NSW southern exposures. Mixing with a ESE groundswel­l at 1 to 2ft+ along exposed SE QLD beaches, grading smaller elsewhere. WIND: Light SW inshore early, tending SE 10 to 15 knots in the afternoon.

FRIDAY

Mix of minor ESE groundswel­l

and background S swell leftovers south of the border. Ranging from 1 to 3ft northern NSW southern exposures, grading to 1 to 2ft+ along exposed QLD beaches and smaller elsewhere. WIND: Light offshore land breezes early, tending ENE during the arvo at around 10 to 15 knots.

SATURDAY

Stronger ESE groundswel­l mixing with slight rising NE swell. Ranging from 2 to 3ft northern NSW southern exposures, grading to 2 to 3ft along exposed QLD beaches and smaller elsewhere. WIND: Early light NW to NNW early, tending N, NNE and freshening to 15 to 25 knots later.

SUNDAY

Underlying ESE groundswel­l mixing with short period NE windswell up to a junky 2 to 3ft+ exposed areas early, smaller elsewhere. WIND: WNW 15 to 20 knots tending WSW during the afternoon and easing.
