Resounding ‘yes’ to councillor’s big question

COUNCILLOR Cameron Caldwell has some big news.

He popped the question to partner Lauren (pictured) under a “stunning sunset backdrop” on Saturday on the beach at Main Beach after a “beautiful meal” at Omeros Brothers.

Her answer was a resounding yes.

“I am so lucky to have such a beautiful, intelligent, and loving woman come into my life and I am proud to now have her as my fiance,” he wrote in a gushing Instagram post.

“Huge thanks to friends and family that made it all possible and to the Gold Coast for providing a stunning backdrop for a sunset proposal.”

He presented his future bride with a stunning solitaire diamond ring from LeGassick.
