Cops look into threat

POLICE are searching for vandals who threatened to “kill police” in graffiti found in Palm Beach on Saturday morning.

The grafitti appeared on a billboard for a Palm Beach development.

The Queensland Police spokeswoman said the owner was working to remove the grafitti, the corner of 19th Ave and the Gold Coast Hwy.

“There’s not a large scale investigation, but we will keep the information on file in case further things pop up in the area,” she said. “At this stage it’s not linked to any widespread vandalism sprees.”
