New S swell builds in. Solid 3 to 4ft+ across northern NSW south facing coasts, picking up towards 4 to 5ft+ in the afternoon. Wrapping in at around 1 to 3ft exposed SE Qld breaks. WIND: SSW inshore at dawn, turning SSE 15 to 25 knots early in the morning, then SE to ESE later.

TOMORROW

Speculativ­e potential for S groundswel­l. Junky 3 to 5ft northern NSW southern exposures, gradually easing during the day. Mixing with rising ESE windswell at a junky onshore 2 to 4ft exposed southern Qld beaches, and grading smaller inside the points and bays. WIND: SE to ESE 10 to 20 knots, potentiall­y tending E during the day.

WEDNESDAY

Potential for reinforcin­g SSE groundswel­l mixing with easing ESE windwell ranging from 4 to 5ft+ northern NSW exposed breaks, grading to 2 to 4ft exposed Qld beaches and smaller elsewhere. WIND: Model divergence. Possibly light and variable inshore early. Otherwise ESE up to 15 to 25 knots.
