BRISBANE great Shaun Hart is confident Gold Coast are on the right track.

Hart is a development coach with the Suns and concedes the early years were difficult for all involved at the league’s 17th club.

However, with Stuart Dew’s arrival as senior coach, Mark Evans as chief executive, a new state-of-the-art headquarters and “thriving” local participation, he says the future’s bright.

“Certainly there has been some challenges in the early days,” Hart said.

“The initial stage was one where we didn’t have the facilities and maybe the people.

“Fast-track to right now, I think we’ve got the right people in the right places.”
