OFFSHORE: It will be a pearler today, with northerly winds 10-12 knots. Try the 18 fathom reefs for snapper and jewfish on live bait, with tuna also around.

NORTH STRADBROKE: Longtail tuna caught feeding on schools of the pilchards coming through.

SEAWAY: Big run of trevally, tailor and queenfish

BROADWATER: At Crab Island and Tipplers Channel there’s good flathead, bream, tailor and tarpon. You’ll see a few people out their brushing up their skills ahead of the Flathead Classic next week.

JUMPINPIN: Big jewfish caught at the bar as well as tuna, tailor and flathead.

FRESHWATER: Few bass and saratoga taken in Hinze Dam.
