A bunch of Wallabies loose on the Coast – what could go wrong?

THE Wallabies have vowed to avoid the bright lights of the Gold Coast in order to resurrect their wonky Test rugby season.

Australia face Argentina at Cbus Super Stadium on Saturday but the hosts bring a dismal 2-4 season record into the clash after recent heavy losses to New Zealand and Ireland.

Wallabies assistant coach Stephen Larkham, though, is adamant things won’t unravel further in a city known for its party atmosphere – however, there is the lure.

“The hotel we’re staying at is right in the middle of Surfers and there is a lot to do there, plenty of distractions away from what we need to be focusing on,” Larkham said.
