Lynch still tightlipped on future
TOM Lynch is poised to join Richmond but he’ll wait until the Tigers’ 2018 season is finished before telling the footy world of his intentions.
The former Gold Coast cocaptain said the call to walk away from the Suns had been his biggest decision before narrowing the list of suitors to one.
Lynch, 25, is set to join Richmond next month but isn’t yet prepared to officially reveal his club of choice.
“Out of respect to all clubs I’ve spoken to and Gold Coast, I can’t obviously say who I’m leaning towards,” Lynch said.
“First and foremost I’d rather tell them officially rather than broadcast it ... (I’ve) come to my decision but it’s still quite a few weeks before anything comes out.”
Lynch said he was unsure if fellow Suns co-captain Steven May would follow him south.
