Be a good dog owner

PET dogs have killed more than 115 koalas in northern NSW in the past decade.

A free event to be held at Suffolk Park in Byron Bay will address this issue and educate dog owners about the importance of keeping dogs on a leash and secure in the home or backyard.

Owners are invited to bring their dogs on-leash for a barbecue breakfast with local vets. There will also be giveaways.

The ‘Dog’s Breakfast’ event will begin at 7.30am on Sunday.
