FRESHWATER: Flathead in the Tweed River and whiting, dart and tailor along the river systems in Tugun and Cabarita. Bass are finally active again in the Hinze Dam in the early evenings and early mornings.

BROADWATER: Flathead inside the Seaway along the rockwalls in the middle of the day. Also been seen from the shore along the beaches near Runaway Bay, as well as bream in the evening around Paradise Point, Labrador and Southport.

OFFSHORE: Snapper along the close reefs along with tusk fish and tuna east of Tweed Heads. Snapper are still the biggest catch and can also be found out on the 36 fathom reefs.
