Blades miss two stars

THE Queensland Blades have lost Labrador stars Corey Weyer and Dylan Wotherspoon to Kookaburras duties ahead of the second round of the Australian Hockey League this weekend.

The Blades, who beat NSW 6-4 in Round 1 last weekend, will be without Weyer and Wotherspoon when they play away to Canberra on Sunday.

The Queensland Scorchers have included local products Savannah and Madison Fitzpatrick, and Rosie Malone for their trip to Canberra.
