South Pac double for teen Park
GOLD Coast schoolgirl HyeJun Park fired her best round of the week yesterday to win back-to-back titles at the South Pacific Ladies Classic.
Park, just 15, grabbed four birdies and eagled the par-five eighth for a two-under-par 70 at Surfers Paradise Golf Club.
Amateur Park (71-73-70) won by two shots from Indooroopilly’s Isabelle Simpson (70-74-72).
Park, a member of Royal Pines, took advantage of yesterday’s perfect conditions with no sign of predicted storms.
