OKTOBERFEST FINDS A HOME ON THE RANGE

- EMILY HALLORAN

GET your clubs out and your lederhosen on, Oktoberfest and golf are about to team up on the Gold Coast.

It is the brainchild of KDV Sport at Carrara and organisers say they anticipate 800 litres of beer will be downed on at the October 28 event.

KVP events organiser Tayla Marshall said the day would offer beers, cider and German food as well as lots of fun for all the family.

“We will have all sorts of activities on the day for kids, from animal farms to golf, soccer and more,” she said.

“For adults, we have golf beer pong, a hot dog eating competition and a stein hoisting competition.

“We want to make Oktoberfest something for the whole family to enjoy.”

Tickets for the event are $55 for families and are available online or at the complex on the day.
