One Nation targets Curra plan
THE proposed Curra international shooting complex will get a shot in the arm if One Nation secures the balance of power in the state election with the party promising $500,000 to get the project started.
The commitment is part of the party’s plan for the project to become a reality.
An allocation of land has also identified near the Curra State Forest to be leased to Gympie Regional Council at $1 per year.
One Nation candidate for the seat of Gympie, Chelle Dobson, said the project was feasible but remained stuck in limbo as a “promise” that had been used by the major parties in the past and this would finally put an end to 25 years of uncertainty.
