Well, hello. It seems an introduction is in order.

Yep, my name is “unusual”. Feel free to give the French pronunciation a go, but I will also accept Chanzy, Channy, Chonty and any other variations you like.

I’ve had the same haircut since I was six years old and have no idea what’s under the fringe.

I live on the coast with an alopecia -affected pomeranian (as nekkid as the day you were born), but an immune- boosting childhood cocktail of dirt, dog slobber and dam water worth its weight in disinfectant has left its mark and I’m definitely a country girl at heart.

I also devote a fair chunk of my downtime to working on my getaway plan – Canada and Norway are next on my bucket list, but my closer-to-home happy place is Heron Island.

Nothing makes me more excited than sharing the things I love; it’s what first drew me to journalism and why there’s nowhere else I’d rather be.

You already know the rest of the gang, so the only thing left to do is for me to get to know you – drop me a line any time, or look me up on Instagram @chantaylogan.

Thanks for letting me be part of your
