Mars

The Gympie Times - - LIFE -

Produced by National Geographic, directed by Ron Howard (Apollo 13) and produced by Brian Grazer (A Beautiful Mind), Mars is a feat of imagination and a celebration of science. It features real-life interview footage, along with a fictional story set in 2033. We follow a crew of six astronauts launching from Florida on a journey to be the first people to set foot on Mars, but trouble arises when their vessel’s landing systems malfunction. Scientists and engineers such as Elon Musk and Neil deGrasse Tyson divulge on the difficulties that the crew might face. It’s a slightly clunky but fascinating adventure into the realm of the unknown.
